Who knew a yard sale could teach me a thing or two. Like how many wonderful people of all races, ages and backgrounds exist. One woman taught me some spanish to help me make a sell to a spanish family, another woman (Samoan) walked/bounced Jack for me when he got fussy so I could help customers. An old man gave me some awesome tips for any future yard sells I have, he claimed to be a professional yard sale-r :) An adorable big brother bought goody bags for his other siblings because they had no money. He was proud, it was sweet. People of all ages, baby to- granny and races of all kinds showed. They were all sooo nice. I think yard selling could become my newest job . Taking in the sun, finding fun little treasures, meeting fun people and bringing in a bit of cash too! By the way the yard sale raised about $350 to be donated to The American Cancer Society.

So Norahs birthday is coming up, August 14th to be exact. I really want to do a little "fun in the sun" birthday party. I happened across her blog and she along with Play House Bouncers will be giving a way a water bouncer play house. How much fun would this be ! We REALLY REALLY want to win : ) What a fun happy birthday that would be for my little sun baby Norah. Wish us luck!
